RNAPSEC (RNA Phase Separation with detailed Experimental Conditions)
RNAPSEC (RNAPhaSep with detailed Experimental Conditions) is a dataset designed to predict conditions under which proteins and RNA undergo liquid-liquid phase separation (LLPS) with detailed experimental conditions. LLPS plays a role in forming membraneless condensates with specific cellular functions, and its abnormalities are associated with some diseases like neurodegenerative disorders. RNAPSEC expands upon the RNAPhaSep database (Nucleic Acids Res. 2022, 50, D340) by including detailed records of experimental conditions such as pH, temperature, and salt concentration, as well as protein and RNA concentrations. Additionally, models predicting LLPS under specified conditions and conditions leading to LLPS for a given protein and RNA are also publicly available.
