Materials Cloud

Materials Cloud is an open platform designed to publish and share research results in computational materials science, promoting reproducible science. Developed by a research group based at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), it offers visual and systematic access to data obtained from first-principles calculations, such as crystal structures, band structures, and phonon dispersions. In addition to its archiving function, which enables long-term data storage and DOI assignment, it provides a cloud-based computational environment built on JupyterLab and reproducibility-assured workflows integrated with AiiDA. Furthermore, it includes educational content and GUI-based simulation tools, making it accessible and useful for a wide range of users, from beginners to advanced researchers.
